I’m Karen, and I live in Portland, Oregon. I’m originally from Wichita, Kansas, but moved to Portland in 2008 and haven’t looked back. I have a passion for good design, beautiful photography, good food, and world travel. I’ve been studying Arabic since 2009, and have traveled all over the Middle East. I first spent 9 months in Dubai, and since then I’ve traveled to Bahrain, Jordan, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Morocco.
